India
Tigers, Temples, and Transformation
March 2029
There is no other India trip like this one.
Two brothers. Two sides - natural and spiritual. Double your fun, double your adventure, double your experience. The brothers - Aaron and Alex, could not be more different.
Aaron is a former zoo director, current Director of the American Bald Eagle Foundation. He consults with zoos and museums on scientific exhibits and writes zoological papers on taxonomy and animal husbandry. He has traveled to India five times.
Alex is a yoga instructor and studio owner. Not a typical, "I got a certificate from the fitness club and now I can teach yoga," but a true yogi. He spends every other year in India with his Gurus studying yoga and Sanskrit and the Bhagavad Gita and a little Hindi. Back home in the states, he is called upon by the Indian community to explain cultural traditions to the "Americanized" Indians - wedding traditions, births, temple practice. He knows the culture, he knows the practice, and he knows India like no one else.
Your days on this trip will begin with morning yoga sessions, then an afternoon of wildlife and culture, followed by an evening of Sanskrit or the Bhagavad Gita. We'll visit cities, temples, rural areas, and spend days on safari in search of the elusive India Tiger all while searching for spiritual balance through yoga.
